I am really curious about Second Yr-Silver when I was in first year. They said that it is a really organized and good section, others say it is a scary and difficult one.

When I entered the sophomore life, I remembered that statement. Now, I know the mysteries of being a let’s just say, a Silver alumnus.

It is difficult though but I instantly managed it. We always stick to the time, clean every speck of dirt in our surroundings, and never forget to worship and pray to God and that’s the best part of being a second year.

Through the tears and regrets that we’ve experienced, we still love being a silvernian. The sound of the bell never leaves our minds. We even remembered that our adviser, Sir Luague (the disciplined and the toughest teacher of all) surrendered but that’s another story!

We learned a lot of being one of this section. I learn to be a leader and a follower, and we discover discipline at that time. We know family at that time because we work together as a team to make everything went well. We learn to jam and take a break even throughout the difficulties but it is a challenging and amazing chapter of our lives (and mine)

We will never forget the fun and the laughs we shared together. From the first day of class to the year end celebration, it is always be treasured for being one from the 2nd year silver.

GO SILVER!!!

GO SILVER!!!

brush1In a peaceful village he lived. He prepared for school and said goodbye to his mom. After he left, thinking that this day is boring and ordinary, he didn’t said a word.

In school, he is used to being bullying around, insulting around and even scowling around by people who are bigger than him, including boys and girls. ” I am so unfortunate”, he always thought.

On the same day, she is so nervous as she toured around her new school. As a newbie, she felt like being tortured because she had no friends to deal with. As she went to the classroom, she noticed that poor boy who is teased by his girl classmates. Naturally stubborn and strong-willed, she didn’t hesitate to defend the boy.

After the argument, he thanked her for being brave. Since then, he is the first friend she had met in this school. He gave her a tour, introduction and even showed her around the secrets of the campus.

As she looked at him, she is smitten by his kindness even he looked well, unusual. She thought of a plan that will give him the ultimate change of his life. She said to him that next week, she will give him a surprise.

A surprise?, he thought but didn’t ask. Next week, Saturday to be exact, she dragged him to the mall and give him a make-over. Is this sure?, the boy thought and was confused but he let her do her thing.

Goodbye glasses and hello new you!, she exclaimed. As he looked at the mirror, he was shocked of what he saw. He said, Is this me?. She laughed and saw him as a new person.

Everyone in the school was surprised as they saw the boy they insulted into a cute, social person. He was glad because there are no people to drag him around. The boy looked for the girl as the class ended.

At the school garden, the girl was happy for the boy because her classmates already respect him and admire him. He thanked her for everything. As she stopped talking, he stared at her for that time. He liked her for being determined, sweet, and kind and he know that he could not find any girl like her.

After the week, he called her to go to the nearby lighthouse. She was confused but she agreed. He waited for her until she came. She asked why did he call her here and right now. She noticed that unexplainable look of his face as he talked her about their relationship as friends. He said that she is like a simple brush, who changes his dull life into an exciting and colorful paradise. She blushed and was thankful to him. He didn’t throw the chance to speak out how he feel about her for the first time that stubborn stranger defended him in front of quirky girls. She never felt happier that day because she managed to meet someone she had changed like a simple brush.

Wilt Blossom

cherry2As she prepared for the day, she saw the cherry blossom tree as a beautiful plant because it is full of bloom. The school bus is here and its time for school thinking that it is just an ordinary and boring day

She arrived at the school. Normal flow as usual. Still, she didn’t mind. As she walked to the corridor, she noticed a boy sitting in a tree. Melancholy and silent, deep gaze overfill his eyes with a face that can’t be painted. She wondered why is he well, lonely.

She knew the boy as well because he is the son of the principal in the school. She thought, ” Oh, a teacher’s pet!” but never said a word. She continued to stroll still remembering that principal’s pet.

After school, she went home. As she checked her bag, she was surprised that her math assignment was left on the campus. She hurried back until she bumped somebody. To her surprise, it’s that boy again. He noticed that she is desperate so he accompanied her back to the school.

The two of them walked the dark corridor until she got her assignment. She thanked him for the favor until the two of them were apart.

As the boy settled in his home, he noticed the cherry blossom plant in the garden. He observed that it is wilting and dying but he didn’t mind. He remembered the girl he accompanied that night and he realized that he is so dumb because he didn’t know her name. He thought about it tomorrow and went to bed. As he rested, the image of the girl can’t leave his mind.

The next day, the boy saw the cherry blossom plant dead. As usual, he didn’t mind because it’s just a plant. As he arrived in the school, he noticed that everybody in the school is chaotic and worried. He asked somebody and was shocked about the terrible news. He realized that the girl yesterday was already dead because of a road accident. He never felt something that day, he is more and more depressed and suddenly, he saw a beautiful cherry blossom in the tree he settled in yesterday where he is melancholy. He hold the flower really soft and firm, without harming its vulnerable structure, thinking that it is the girl he admired for the first time after his loneliness.

Ngano man ni ang kinabuhi?

Usahay ubos ug babaw

Naay mga tawo na halos gahum gikamkam.

Naa sad uban bisag mumho gikalisdan

Naay uban malipayon, magul-anon

Today, I am a 3rd year student in my school but I can’t help to think about the memories when I was a freshmen.

Housing at I-Gold, I experience out of the ordinary. We are nicknamed as the loudest and craziest section and also the record-breaker in our school. Even it had offended us a bit, I enjoyed being a Goldanian because the laughter and friendships that we developed.

Remembering it makes me laugh. The time when our teachers scold us, our classmates are joking, hanging out inside the room without nothing else to do and the tears shed after the year. These are the moments.

That’s why I will never forget being a Goldanian. It is the fun and unique chapter in my life.

Tell me why

cherryWhy?

That question is still intriguing my mind. For all the questions in the world, that WHY is still knocking for an answer. A long time its seeking for an answer even it is a small world. In my memory, it is planted and grown.

That WHY is like an illness or an epidemic for me. It makes you answer with all your heart and with honesty. That WHY never leaves until it hears answers. Answers that are waiting to burst out and cool down.

Until one day a friend come over and as usual, natural and ordinary ways reigned. As we talked, he asked me Why I was miserable and not myself these days.

Then it was uncomfortable to hear that WHY again. Without saying the truth I replied that nothing and just a normal outlook of me every time. He agreed but it was obvious to him that I’m not telling the truth because my expression is unwritten.

He left with that feeling and knowing that I’m not telling the truth. After he left, I went outside, comforted myself and touched my dog. Still, that question keeps echoing my mind, that I can’t answer even a single honest word to a friend. Then I turned on the radio and listened to my favorite song but still wondering what I will answer to that simple but complicated question.
